The goal and purpose of Music Ministry is to enhance the experience of
worship by heightening the Word of God with music and to provide beauty
to the liturgy through music.

Adult Choir
This intergenerational ensemble comes together to sing the Mass in a range of genres once a weekend, rotating Saturdays and Sundays. The adults join the Cherubs and teens in the Festival of Lessons and Carols and take center stage in our Festival of Music.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays 6:45-8:15 P.M. in the Church choir area.
Cherub Choir
Note: Our Cherub Choir is on hiatus during our search for a new music director.
Students in grades K-5 lead the Children’s Mass in song on the fourth Sunday of each month. Cherubs also join our teen and adult choirs in the Festival of Lessons and Carols and the Festival of Music.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays 6 – 6:30 P.M. in the Church choir area.
Teen Choir
Students in grades 6-12 (instrumentalists and singers alike) lead the Teen Mass in song on the second Sunday of each month. The teen choir also joins our Cherub and adult choirs for the Festival of Music.
Rehearsals: the first Sunday of each month from 10:30 to noon in the Church choir area.
Musica Latina
Rafael Gomez y Maria Elena Gonzalez lideran la música de la comunidad Latina, acompañando la Misa es Español los Domingos a las 17 horas.
Interim Music Director
Kelly Kadlec, St. George’s Music Director from 2012-2022, has graciously agreed to serve as interim director while Father Shane searches for a new Music Director.

Festival of Music
Our annual Festival of Music brings together all of our ensembles to sing secular music that puts the beat in our feet! It’s a night of family fun and foo, as well as a major fundraiser for our Music Ministry.”
Recordings
Our choirs have recorded 3 CDs featuring favorites as well as St. George composers thanks to Jim Tierney at Big Swan Studio. “Not Just on Sunday,” “We’re Original,” and “I Say Yes!” are available for purchase at St. George. All proceeds benefit the St. George music ministry.
