We are excited to welcome both new and returning students to our 2018-2019 Faith Formation program, which starts on Wednesday, September 26th with a mandatory parent meeting at 6:30pm.
Our religious education programs are open to children from preschool through high school. Students from first through eighth grade meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm until 7:45 pm. Confirmation students will also be meeting on Wednesday nights this year but may have a different schedule — details about Confirmation will be available in the coming weeks. PreK/K students will meet on Wednesdays from 5:15pm-6:15pm.
Students from pre-K through fifth grade will participate in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program (www.cgsusa.org); sixth through eight grade will utilize the Image of God curriculum (imageofgodseries.com).
The ninth grade has a class that focuses on Confirmation preparation. Older high school students who have not been confirmed are also welcome to enroll. The Confirmation class will meet on Wednesday nights, for one Teen Mass per month, and for one Sunday night youth group per month, as well as for other service and retreat events. The detailed schedule for Confirmation will soon be available on the link above, as well as our church calendar. Questions about Confirmation should be directed to Melba Reyes Chavarria at email@example.com.
We are looking for parents to help the teachers in the classroom. Please consider if you can help support this vital ministry either every week or once or more per month.
Should you have questions about the programs or volunteering, please contact our Faith Formation Director Christina Ruiz via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or the church office at 952-473-1247.
FAITH FORMATION CALENDAR, REGISTRATION FORM, AND VOLUNTEER FORMS FOR 2018-2019
The Registration Form works best in Adobe Acrobat Reader.

The form may be returned via email, via regular mail, or may be dropped off during office hours. You are encouraged to register early, as we may need to limit class sizes to ensure that children have the best opportunity to learn and grow in our faith.
Support of the religious education programs by parents and other members of our parish family is a vital element of our programs. A volunteer sign-up form is provided for your information. Please consider ways in which you would like to contribute. At this time we are in need teacher aides/classroom monitors at most levels. Volunteers must attend VIRTUS safe environment training and have a background check. Please register at www.virtus.org. If you have never used the VIRTUS site before, please click on first-time registrant.
