A Letter from Your Pastor – March 19, 2020

The Lord will be with us in these forthcoming days! Let us make room in our hearts to receive His comforting words, His own compassionate Sacred Heart, and as the New Moses, may He lead us through this present land of woe and anxiety ‘to a land rich with milk and honey,’ to taste and savor His very own Goodness and Grace! Going forward now, in my daily private Mass I will continue to hold your special intentions with a pastoral heart. Peace be with you all!

Archdiocese Covid-19 Information

What can you do?

  • Pray. Pray for our parish, the Church, this nation and our world – particularly those who have died, those who are currently suffering from COVID-19/coronavirus and those who are caring for them. Though you will not be able to receive the Eucharist, you may still pray the Mass by participating via TV, radio or streaming
  • Share the needs of our community. Are you or someone you know suffering from difficulty accessing food or running important errands like picking up medication at the pharmacy?  Let us know, and we’ll work to make connections with parishioners and local resources to help get us all through this challenging time – together.  Also consider calling our elderly or single parishioners to check on them.  Isolation can be quite lonely and sometimes just hearing a friendly voice and knowing that there are friends who care can greatly lift spirits.
  • Giving
    • Participate in electronic giving to support our ongoing ministries and operations. One time donations or scheduled giving is available. Click on the following link and scroll down to the bottom left: http://stgeorgelonglake.org/stewardship/ for more information. Another option is to mail your contribution.
